Blowfish is a machine I developed in 9 weeks, intended to demonstrate the functionality of Powder Motion Labs' proprietary electrostatic bed-leveling solutions for Laser Powder-Bed Fusion (LPBF) 3d printers. It features solenoid valves, linear rails, stepper motors, a C++ based microcontroller, and a series of supporting components, sensors, and custom circuitry and wiring. The project requirements were relatively open-ended, and a large portion of the design choices were my responsibility.
